Afton renews Child Development Center lease and discusses forming cemetery district

He presented information about forming and establishing a cemetery district and introduced a proposed flower and decoration policy. The council agreed to inform citizens about the possibility of creating a cemetery district and to continue reviewing the decoration policy before taking action.
The council did not set specific dates for public outreach or ballot actions related to forming a cemetery district during this meeting.
