The Clifton Town Council approved the Planning Commission’s recommendation to renew the Clifton Farmers Market permit for 2025 with two changes from the prior year: expanding the number of impacted parking spaces by four and extending market hours to 8 a.m.–1 p.m.
The Planning Commission recommended the conditional renewal with the expectation the market submit an annual letter with landlord approval and confirmation of parking-space use from adjacent property owners. Councilmember Steve Effros moved to accept the Planning Commission recommendation; the motion passed by poll, 6–0.
Separately, the Council approved a request to place temporary Farmer’s Market signage at Clifton Elementary School, matching the prior year’s signage plan with the updated hours. Mayor Peterson moved to approve the signage request; the motion passed, 6–0.
