Councilmember Steve Effros noted that an engineering report from ARB Chair Jarrendt was previously expected but is no longer available, and suggested the town could commission a professional engineering report if the Council wanted more detailed cost estimates. An anonymous benefactor indicated a willingness to fund repairs, but the Council did not take action and tabled the item until the next meeting.
No motion was approved; Councilmembers agreed to gather additional information, including possible grant options and the cost of an independent engineer’s report, before making a final decision.
