At its March 12 meeting the Township of Mahwah approved routine administrative items on the consent agenda. The council approved the 2026 recreation fees and a $5 increase for the Township adult/teen pool price; it extended food and beverage concession licenses at the municipal pool and other fields with the incumbent Waldwick Whistle Stop; and authorized a renewal for the Department of Public Works work‑order software with Brightly (formerly Dude Solutions) for approximately $25,800 for 2026. The council also authorized cooperative purchasing arrangements using the Bergen County and HGAC cooperatives for vehicle purchases and parts, including award of a vehicle up‑fit through the HGAC contract to an emergency vehicle vendor. Business Administrator Benjamin Kezmarsky noted that some routine purchasing and insurance renewals will be handled via the identified co‑op contracts to achieve cost savings and accelerate procurement. Several budget and refund resolutions also cleared in the consent agenda, including tax/utility overpayment refunds and transfers of appropriation reserves to manage the year‑end budget.
