Gay Petersen, chair of the Afton Planning & Zoning Board, presented two planned unit development applications on July 12: one by PNS, LLC to separate two existing buildings onto individual lots, and another by Diversified Property Holdings, LLC to divide Building A of the Town homes on the Green into two units.
The Planning & Zoning Board recommended approval of both applications. For the PNS, LLC property the board recommended a developer’s agreement that would require individual homeowners to hook up to Town sewer if sewer service becomes available within 200 feet; the council accepted that condition when it approved the PUD. For the Diversified Property Holdings application the board recommended a developer’s agreement that the homeowners association would maintain lateral sewer lines; the council accepted that arrangement when it approved the PUD.
Councilman Jason C. Inskeep moved to accept the Planning & Zoning Board recommendations and to require the developer’s agreements as discussed; Councilman Bill Hoopes seconded and the motions carried. No appeals or objections to the approvals were recorded in the meeting minutes.
