Mahwah Environmental Commission approves Serrano pool project, defers Disha plans and clears National Art tenant application

At its March 25 meeting the Township of Mahwah Environmental Commission reviewed several site-plan and tenant applications. Commissioners voted to defer Docket EPS-2306-771 (Disha, 6 Adams Court) until the original Board of Adjustment plans approved August 25 are submitted. The deferral motion was made by Hayden McClure and seconded by Mike Devaney.
The commission approved Docket EPS-26-304-769 (Serrano, 39 Meadow Lake Drive) for construction of an inground pool, patio, water feature and outdoor kitchen; the minutes record the motion by Hayden McClure, seconded by Mike Devaney, and state "all other members in favor." No individual vote tallies were recorded in the minutes.
The commission also reviewed and approved Tenant Application TA #26-00012 (National Art, LLC) to operate a school-supplies wholesale warehouse at 31 Industrial Avenue, Suite 4. The meeting minutes additionally note correspondence from Hackensack Riverkeeper (Tidelines newsletter) was received and entered into the record.
