Mahwah Environmental Commission advances Green Fair planning, schedules rain-garden clean-up

Karin LaGreca, Sustainable Jersey consultant, briefed the Township of Mahwah Environmental Commission at its March 25 meeting on planning for the 2026 Green Fair and related volunteer efforts. LaGreca recommended hiring a native-plant landscaper to support ongoing upkeep and cleanup projects and said the landscaper would attend upcoming volunteer events.
LaGreca said a clean-up event is tentatively scheduled for May 9. The minutes note that Secretary Kevin Tsinkelis was to enter Sprout Farms & Gardens as a vendor and submit a requisition for certification as a purchase order; the minutes do not record a spoken motion by Tsinkelis (the roll call lists him as absent).
