Board praises senior capstone presentations as a highlight of the year

S2 said the capstone asks students to select an item that "brings together what their experience in high school" and that the presentations often reveal personal growth and future planning. S2 and other board members observed emotional and reflective responses from families in the audience.
Board members said the capstone is a graduation requirement for Northland Pines High School and noted it supports presentation skills students will need beyond school. Committee member (S3) added that participation has grown and the process has become smoother for families.
