Town Treasurer Robin reported to the Chichester Heritage Commission on May 21 that she had researched the town's bookkeeping for the commission and established three separate accounts to keep funds distinct. She said the commission's Budget account holds $1,279.00; the Non-lapsing account holds $1,817.73; and the Charrette account holds $2,629.49.
Robin also confirmed that presenter Rebecca Rule had been reimbursed $21 for mileage. Commissioners discussed the 50,000 minimum needed to open a certificate of deposit and concluded a CD was not feasible for these funds, so the three accounts will remain open and separate.
Commission members present at the meeting included Lucille Noel, Katherine Shamel, Gloria Beachy, Dawn Marshall and Joyce Lemay. The commission did not take further financial action beyond accepting the treasurer's report; no motions related to reallocation or transfers were recorded.
