The Town of Hubbardston Finance Committee completed its post-election reorganization at the start of its July 14 meeting and approved nominations for officers by voice vote.
At the opening of the meeting the committee agreed to nominate and approve officers (chair, vice chair and clerk). Committee members verbally seconded the nominations and the chair announced those positions were filled; the transcript records voice agreement but not a roll-call tally.
Later in the meeting the committee considered appointing a town representative to the Central regional 9-1-1 finance committee (the regional 911 center that covers multiple member towns). The chair moved to recommend Rosemary as the town's finance-committee representative; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Committee members noted the appointment is typically annual.
Members also moved to elect a liaison to the Capital Improvements (CPIC) process for FY28; the motion passed by voice vote and the committee adjourned.
The committee did not provide formal roll-call tallies in the recorded discussion; all actions were recorded as voice votes and will be reflected in the written minutes and future agendas.
