At a Jan. 20 work session, the Town of New Windsor Council reviewed four water and sewer billing policies, made edits and deferred a final review to the February Town Council meeting.
Council members discussed an option to add an additional tier to the town's water and sewer billing structure. The council agreed to continue that discussion at the February meeting and a subsequent work session; no formal rate changes or votes were recorded in the transcript.
Officials also noted a Feb. 4 Water Resource Element public hearing at the county building. Councilmember Dave Hoffman indicated he may be late to the Feb. 4 Town Council meeting because of attendance at that hearing. The council announced a calendar change moving the March 4 Town Council meeting to March 3.
No resident concerns were recorded during the public comment section of the Jan. 20 work session.
