Chair Tom Godar opened the Okauchee Lake Management District meeting on March 17, 2025, and the board accepted the treasurer's report showing total revenues of $398,230.12, total expenditures of $1,508.00 and a budgeted balance of $396,722.12.
Commissioner Doug Larson presented the report and said he and Commissioner John Foley had completed a cash-flow analysis that staggered district funds across multiple accounts to generate interest. "We have staggered monies into a variety of accounts to generate interest," Larson reported.
Commissioner Brian Sichi moved to accept the treasurer's report as presented; Commissioner Bruce Mueller seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The board then voted unanimously to approve payments submitted from Nov. 11, 2024 through March 17, 2025 after a motion by Commissioner Bruce Mueller and second by Commissioner Brian Sichi.
The actions leave the district with the reported budgeted balance. The board did not record individual roll-call votes; meeting minutes state that all votes were unanimous. The district set approval of the Nov. 11, 2024 minutes and an aquatic plant management report for the April agenda.
The board's next regular meeting is scheduled for April 21, 2025 at 7:00 p.m.
