The minutes state that Bruce Mueller submitted his resignation as treasurer; on a motion from Commissioner Brian Sichi and a second from Commissioner John Foley, the board appointed Commissioner Doug Larson as the new treasurer. The motion carried unanimously.
Earlier in the meeting Doug Larson presented the district's financial summary for the period ending Nov. 11, 2024: total revenues of $409,770.99 and total expenditures of $335,489.79, leaving a budgeted balance of $74,281.20. Commissioner Brian Sichi moved to accept the treasurer's report; Larson seconded and the motion carried unanimously.
The board also approved payments submitted from Oct. 15 through Nov. 11, 2024, and approved the Oct. 14, 2024 meeting minutes; both motions carried unanimously. All motions and approvals were recorded without further discussion.
What happens next: Commissioner Doug Larson assumes treasurer duties and will oversee recordkeeping and reporting. The board listed investment plans and budget follow-ups for future agendas.
