Landover Hills to reapply for county Sustainable Communities program; Town Hall may host March 4 polling; nuisance hearing set for DMV Events Center

DMV Events Center nuisance-abatement hearing: The mayor said a virtual nuisance-abatement hearing regarding the DMV Events Center is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 19, 2024, at 9:30 a.m. via Zoom. Schomisch said he, Interim Chief of Police Elnos Gomez and other witnesses will attend the hearing on behalf of the town. Election logistics: The council recorded that Prince George's County elections on March 4, 2025 have requested to use Town Hall as a polling site.
