Committee forwards FY25 and FY26 amendment package to counsel after manager flags double‑counting

"If you look at the top of the chart for f y 25, you see 1000000 dollars there," Tyler said, explaining that funds—identified in the draft as ARPA money, a tax item and public safety money—had been counted more than once as they flowed through different funds.
Tyler also pointed to harbor expenses (including fuel), water‑rate adjustments and center expenses as items reflected in the amendment drafts. He described a plan to stagger amendments across the year rather than make a single large amendment at fiscal year end.
Committee members had no objections and moved to forward the amendment package to counsel for review. The motion to "pass it on to counsel as presented" was seconded and approved by the committee.
The committee did not adopt the amendments at the meeting; it forwarded the draft to legal counsel for review and indicated a subsequent amendment for 2026 would likely be prepared in the spring.
