The board opened a public hearing on the proposed sanitary sewer rates on Dec. 2. Village Administrator Cinda Johnson reviewed the rate proposal as published, explaining the 2% annual increase plan for the next five years and noting that unanticipated maintenance needs could lead to higher costs. No members of the public asked questions during the hearing.
On a motion by Anderson, seconded by Seifert, the board approved the five-year sanitary sewer rate schedule. The roll-call vote was recorded as Yes: Seifert, Wiederholt, Anderson, Hill, Miller and Imhoff; No: none. The motion carried.
