At its Nov. 11 meeting the Muscoda Village Board approved multiple infrastructure and vendor transactions, including final payment for the downtown parking lot project, purchase of a sewer camera, cemetery lawn-care contract and a contract to digitize cemetery records.
Engineer Doyle reviewed the final pay request for G Pro Excavating and Change Order #1 for final material quantities; the board approved a final payment of $10,038.59 and Change Order #1 for $1,806.76. Doyle noted the board will complete parking-lot striping next spring.
Superintendent Wardell presented Envirotech quotes for replacement sewer cameras. A demo camera priced at $9,965 was within the $10,000 budgeted amount for 2025; Trustee Hill moved and Trustee Meyer seconded a motion to purchase the Envirotech camera for $9,965, which the board approved.
For cemetery maintenance the board approved contracting with Babb Lawn Care at $400 per mowing and $50 for trimming; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call vote. Separately, Administrator Johnson presented a Cemetery Information Management System (CIMS) proposal to digitize cemetery records at a cost not to exceed $15,000; the board authorized proceeding in 2025 and noted that ground-penetrating radar to locate burials is available for an additional fee.
The board also approved a contract for 2025 audit services with Johnson Block Company for $30,620 and accepted the pool director’s year-end report, which flagged pool-floor repairs estimated at more than $100,000 and scheduled for fall 2026 consideration.
Each of these items was approved by motion during the meeting; specific vendor names and dollar amounts were presented on the record.
