“It's not easy opening a new business in a new place. I’d like to say thank you for the investment,” a commissioner said during the discussion, thanking downtown partners and the Chamber for recruiting new businesses.

The agreement caps city participation at $330,000 and spreads the assistance over a 10-year period; the motions did not include amendments to those terms during the meeting.
