The Franklin County Board of Commissioners on Feb. 11 approved an agreement with MSC to participate in a Parker hydraulic program that supplies materials and equipment for replacing or repairing hydraulic hoses used by county vehicles and equipment.
County Administrator Derek Brown presented the agreement and said it will provide materials and inventory to support in-house hydraulic hose repairs. Kirk Anderson, the county’s shop foreman, was present to answer technical questions.
Commissioner Colton Waymire moved to approve the agreement; Commissioner Ianne Dickinson seconded. The minutes record the approval as “All voted ‘yes.’” The initial supplies and inventory for the program are listed in the minutes as $11,292.97.
The minutes do not list contract duration, renewal terms, or additional long-term cost estimates; the county administrator or the shop foreman would have details for procurement files and operational implementation.
