Following action on the conditional use permit amendment, the Planning Commission reorganized its leadership. Nominations were opened for chair and vice chair.
Ramsey Corey was nominated for chair (a nomination was reported as moved by Commissioner Ramirez) and was elected after a roll‑call vote; commissioners congratulated the newly elected chair. For vice chair, Betty Standridge and Brian Ramirez were nominated; Betty Standridge was elected vice chair by vote.
The commission confirmed the appointments by vote and the chair and vice chair took their new roles before the meeting adjourned.
The commission then adjourned and staff welcomed the newly seated commissioners.
