The board accepted that range as approximate and approved the position with the understanding that final payroll calculations would be confirmed.
Board members tied the restoration to academic intervention needs under MTSS (Multi‑Tiered System of Supports) and said the tutor could be deployed for reading or math interventions based on building needs. The motion carried on a voice vote.
Next steps: staff will finalize the job description, hours and exact cost for the restored position and reflect the change in the budget spreadsheet for the next meeting.
