City council approves street closure for county fair, police vehicle budget amendment and street-sweeper purchase

The council approved a package of resolutions on unanimous "motion carried" rulings recorded in the minutes. Separately, Resolution NO RE 2026-122 granted the Outagamie County Fair Board permission to use Lake Park for a fun run during the fair (moved by Alderperson Vander Heiden; second by Alderperson Tetzlaff). The council approved Resolution NO RE 2026-126 to authorize payment of bills (moved by Alderperson Gerbers; second by Alderperson Krull) and Resolution NO RE 2026-127 to amend the machinery and equipment capital budget to purchase a 2015 Elgin street sweeper (moved by Alderperson Schaumberg; second by Alderperson Vander Heiden).
