Summary

A council member told the board on July 6 that a building-permit application from a contractor identified in the transcript as "FBI builders" for a 30-by-80 shell at 7 North Street is incomplete and will be returned for revision.
The council member said the submission "did not have the old forms in front of me," and that the contractor provided only rough exterior dimensions and no interior mechanical plans. "They're gonna build a 30 by 80 building on 7 North Street," the council member said, adding that "everybody that I've spoke with has told me that they would not approve the permit the way it stands." The board discussed needing layout details (vehicle access, location of electrical service), mechanical information and health-department approval for septic before the permit can be approved.
Board members directed staff to ask the applicant to submit the county form or a revised application that includes the interior layout and mechanical details, and to obtain any necessary septic approval from the health department. No formal vote was recorded on the permit at this meeting.
