Budget Committee approves thank-you letter for Lee Ann Hendrickson and posts unapproved April minutes

At its June 11 meeting the Town of Wolfeboro Budget Committee handled several administrative items, approving a commendation and the posting of unapproved minutes.
Member Thomas Bell moved that Chairman John MacDonald draft a letter thanking Lee Ann Hendrickson for her years of service; Member Bob Tougher seconded. A roll-call vote recorded eight yes votes and one abstention (John Rutley); the motion carried (8-0-1).
The committee also voted unanimously (9-0-0) to post the unapproved minutes from April 20, 2026, after a motion by Chair MacDonald and a second from Thomas Bell. Member Brian Black asked whether members would receive hard copies of minutes and documents prior to meetings; Interim Town Manager Barry Muccio said printed packets will be placed in the foyer and that expenditure reports will be provided, with reports continuing to go first to the Board of Selectmen.
Chair MacDonald noted some members are not current on harassment training and asked Muccio to check with HR and set up training for anyone who needs it. The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn at 7:30 PM, moved by Bob Tougher, seconded by Bobbi Boudman, and carried with all in favor.
The committee's next scheduled meeting is Aug. 13, 2026; the location is to be determined.
