The Select Board recorded four formal approvals during the meeting:
• Budget transfers: The board approved year-end budget transfers as presented (voice vote recorded 4–0). Staff said improved earlier notification to the Finance Committee will be pursued in future years.
• Trees: The board approved tree-management work at the Hill Road/Middle Road Town Common and at Depot Road, contingent upon a funding mechanism to be coordinated with the Finance Committee (motion approved 4–0). Staff will return with detailed stump-grinding and replanting quotes.
• Playground equipment surplus: The board declared old playground equipment surplus and authorized the DPW director to scrap or sell it at his discretion; purchasers would be required to sign an as‑is waiver. Motion passed 4–0.
• LCTV intermunicipal agreement: The board approved a three-year IMA with Littleton Community Television (voice vote recorded unanimous). LCTV said the new agreement reduces Boxborough’s charge from previous terms and supports continued remote meeting coverage.
