Arlington FBLA students return from nationals with awards; district policy helped fund trip

Missus Coder, FBLA adviser, presented a recap of the FBLA national conference and introduced 25 students who attended.
She explained the funding: "The kids pay $200 each to go, and the board puts in $6.50, and that is board policy," and said the chapter raised roughly $13,000 to cover remaining costs. Students shared highlights—workshops on networking and entrepreneurship, sightseeing in San Antonio and service‑project ideas such as collecting veterans’ stories. Several students described successes in competitions, including a chapter award and an individual capstone/business achievement award.
The board congratulated the students and asked administrators to capture photos and thank‑you notes for the district file and social media.
