Cochise County supervisors approve grants, contracts and personnel actions in unanimous votes

On public-safety and education matters, the board approved a Navigate360 contract for an anonymous tip-reporting and threat-management platform (SafeVoice Cochise) at $169,313.13 for 07/01/2026–06/30/2027; Commander Geordi described the platform's early use in school districts and initial direct calls to 911 tied to the tool. The board approved extension and grant agreements for law-enforcement programs: a DPS grant amendment for victim services and related equipment ($141,250) and an ACJC grant to fund Special Operations overtime and ERE for narcotics work ($155,684.63).
Health and human services grants and agreements passed as well: a NEHA–FDA flexible funding model grant for Environmental Health ($19,000), an intergovernmental agreement with First Things First for child care health consultation ($138,600), and continuation of the ADHS 'Healthy People, Healthy Communities' contract ($741,977) that supports multiple prevention programs and 10 positions.
The board also approved an MOU with Family Endeavors Inc. to provide no-cost holistic wellness services for first responders and their families and a $9,500 membership agreement between Community Share and the School Superintendent for a countywide community-based learning initiative.
