Montello Public Works tables brush-pickup bid, notes East 2nd staking and dam inspection

At the Dec. 11 meeting the City of Montello Public Works Committee reviewed several miscellaneous items. Members discussed a draft brush-pickup bid packet and pickup dates and agreed to table the item to the next meeting to give the committee time to review the packet.
The committee noted the East 2nd Street construction project is currently being staked and will move forward once staking is complete. Ron Knutson asked whether the alley behind the pharmacy is city property; members confirmed it is not. The committee also discussed Montello Lake water levels and noted that a dam inspection was performed last month but the inspection report had not yet been received.
