Mayor Raleigh York, Jr. closed the hearing after no other speakers addressed the matter on July 19 and the council voted to take action at the July 22 recessed meeting.
At the July 22 meeting the council approved the incentive grant by unanimous vote, 7‑0. Mayor York reminded the council of the grant formula and the payment schedule as part of his summary of the hearing. No additional public comments or conditions were recorded at the July 22 vote.
