Platte County approves two small rezoning requests for residential subdivisions

Erickson said the planning commission unanimously recommended approval and staff concurred. The commission voted to approve the rezoning by voice/roll call (3–0).
Erickson also presented 2026CO031, a rezoning of a 6‑acre parcel owned by the Marty and Deborah Richardson Family Trust from agricultural to R80 (rural single‑family) to create a one‑lot minor subdivision that includes the existing dwelling. The planning commission and staff recommended approval; the commission approved the request (3–0).
