The Laconia City Council approved a request from the Laconia Public Library to use up to $9,283 from library impact-fee funds to purchase and install an emergency replacement N4 Jace network controller, the server that coordinates HVAC system components. Councilor Soucy moved approval, Councilor Hoffman seconded, and the motion passed by roll-call vote, 6-0.
City staff noted that approving this request will reduce the library’s impact-fee balance to $38,212.95. Council discussion at the meeting included no further debate and the item was approved as presented.
