Spencer trustees approve shooting-range hours ordinance, accept contractor settlement and direct lease update

Trustees approved Ordinance 26-3 to update the shooting range hours of operation after a motion by Trustee Carolfi and a second by Trustee Krause; the motion was carried, according to the minutes. The ordinance number was recorded in the minutes as 26-3; the minutes do not include the text of the hours change.
The board also accepted an agreement with Ellis Stone Construction for damages resulting from the miscalibration of equipment in Water Treatment Plant #2. Trustee Carolfi moved and Trustee Krause seconded the motion to accept the agreement; the minutes record the settlement amount as $12,842.32 and note the motion was carried.
Trustees directed Clerk Chris Helgestad to update the lease with the Spencer Community Boosters so the boosters and the village more equitably share electrical costs at ARC Park. That direction passed on a motion by Trustee Carolfi with Trustee Moore seconding the motion.
During the meeting Trustees also voted, on a motion by Trustee Carolfi and second by Trustee Jicinski, to enter closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(c) to conduct a performance review of the Village Administrator; the board reconvened in open session at 8:53 p.m. The meeting was adjourned at 8:54 p.m. on a motion by Trustee Carolfi and second by President Toufar.
