For the 2026–2027 season the CO‑OP listed open positions including junior high football, junior high volleyball, junior high girls basketball, junior high boys basketball, head boys basketball, assistant boys basketball, speech, head baseball and assistant track. The group discussed formalizing onboarding and using end‑of‑season evaluations for coaches, and also talked through game‑day field preparation responsibilities.
On summer programming, both districts agreed to a per‑diem of $50 per event, up to a $500 total cap for up to 10 events, for coaches running summer programs. The minutes state payments will be tracked on a shared document and paid out of the respective districts’ funds and recorded as CO‑OP summer expenses.
The CO‑OP also discussed communication improvements, including creating a Maple River Recruits (MRR) Facebook page to share co‑op events and evaluating alternatives to the Remind app, and a fundraising plan using Your Live Event with short athlete clips during game days.
