The Historic District Commission of Temple, N.H., reviewed a recently completed formatting revision to Section I of a proposed amended historic-district ordinance and agreed to continue drafting at its next meeting.
Chair Lilliane Lebel reported she completed a revision of the document’s formatting for Section I and presented it for commissioner feedback. Commissioners provided comments and asked for further revisions before the commission takes additional formal steps on the ordinance.
Commissioners also discussed organizing an event in the fall to highlight the history of Temple Town Hall. Members agreed to continue planning and to return with specifics—such as dates, programming and outreach—at future meetings.
The commission’s review of the ordinance and planning for the fall event were left open for follow-up at the next scheduled meeting on April 22, 2026, as commissioners continue to refine language and formatting of the amendment.
