The Community Advisory Committee discussed plans to invite UNH Extension to present about small-farming opportunities on town property and ways to involve children in local farming and education. Chair Lilliane LeBel agreed to contact the Extension office about possible dates and to bring the presentation back to the CAC for consideration.
Committee members discussed education about farm classification requirements and the benefits of small farming ventures for residents. In the same meeting, members also explored additional tactics to raise subscriptions for the town E‑News beyond inclusion in the monthly newsletter and Facebook posts.
No vote was recorded on either topic; the committee directed LeBel to pursue scheduling with UNH Extension and to continue work on improving E‑News outreach ahead of the April 16 meeting.
