The Beaverdam Board of Appeals on May 13, 2024 approved an appeal by Scott and Jennifer Schroepfer to allow construction of a detached garage in front of their home at W9599 Rose Circle (parcel 004-1114-0622-020).
Chairman Howard Bohl opened the board’s public hearing and said the Schroepfers were present to explain the request. Scott Schroepfer told the board the house sits about 90 feet from the lake, which prevents placing a garage behind or beside the house, and said a county permit has already been obtained.
After closing the public hearing, board member Alan Mannel moved to grant the appeal; Liz Kern seconded the motion. The motion carried unanimously. Board members present were Chairman Howard Bohl, Liz Kern and Alan Mannel. Land Use Administrator Dan Prunuske was also present. The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. and adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
