He also reported the new jail wing is partially open, with the bottom floor functioning while staff work on controls, HVAC and remaining systems on the upper level to meet Department of Justice requirements.
Council members thanked Keller and asked about body‑cam and dash‑cam footage for a future meeting. Keller also described increased two‑person patrols on some shifts and his use of bike patrols during nights.
