At its July 13 meeting the Pleasant Hill City Council approved several items by motion and roll call:
- Temporary street closure (Uphol Street) for Aug. 2, 2026 (wedding procession). Motion made and seconded; roll call recorded unanimous "Yes."
- Special request for use of Grace Lott (Shops on 1st Street event, August 27). Applicant Jenna Perdue described the event and council voted to approve the request.
- Resolution (bill 26‑25) authorizing the city administrator to execute a task agreement with Allstate Consultants for engineering services on the first three water‑line replacement projects in the five‑year drinking water improvement plan. Motion made and seconded; council approved.
- Budget amendment 2027‑04 to move $493,000 of MOSIP/bond proceeds into the operating budget for water‑line engineering services. Motion made and seconded; council approved. Staff noted the MOSIP account is liquid and that about $1,000,000 in federal funds is expected next spring to help fund projects.
Where a formal roll call was recorded in the meeting record, council votes were unanimous on the listed items. Staff will proceed with contract finalization and project scheduling for the water‑line work.
