Staff explained that MOSIP is the city’s investment account for bond proceeds and that the account is liquid and currently earning interest; staff also noted the city expects about $1,000,000 in federal funding next spring that will offset some project costs.
Council members asked about timeline and phasing for the projects; staff said engineering work and subsequent construction would follow the planned schedule and that projects will move into construction as project design and approvals are completed. Motions to approve the resolution and the budget amendment were made and seconded; staff recorded the financing and indicated projects would be scheduled in sequence.
