Winona County board elects Jordan Potter chair, Kelsey Fitzgerald vice chair

At the start of the meeting the board opened nominations for officers. Jordan Potter was nominated and elected chair for 2026; Jordan assumed the gavel after voice approval. The board then opened nominations for vice chair and elected Kelsey Fitzgerald after nominations were closed.
The board adopted the rules of procedure as written and approved the meeting agenda and minutes from Dec. 18, 2025 by voice votes. Jordan Potter also confirmed he will continue in the role as liaison to the planning commission. No contested votes were recorded and the procedural measures passed by unanimous voice votes at the meeting.
