The committee discussed progress on mapping and records in the cemetery's older section, where James Hall, the DPW superintendent, and Gretchen Gallimore, assistant to the town manager, reported that the Green Family Plot has been identified as the starting point and that burial-plot data are still being loaded into the database. A participant identified only as Ryan asked the group for clearer numerical estimates to support the expansion study for the Leavitt land.
The committee also reviewed regulation language about the size of grave markers and agreed to add explanatory wording to the regulations: "The size of the memorial is dependent on the size of the lot. The DPW superintendent will advise on the maximum dimensions." The minutes do not attribute those words to a single speaker.
No formal vote was recorded on the referral; the minutes state only that the Fee Analysis and Expansion Study "are ready to go to the Select Board for review before the May Town Meeting."
