Hildebran council approves 3% pay increase plus $500 flat for town staff

Council agreed instead to a 3% salary increase and the $500 flat-rate increase; the minutes record that the majority supported that approach and it was appropriated in the draft FY 26-27 budget.
Shook also proposed a Downtown Master Plan and council agreed to keep the plan expense in the budget; the minutes do not specify a dollar amount for the plan. Council adjourned at 8:00 p.m.; the minutes were attested by Town Clerk Alice Sanders and signed by Mayor Wendell Hildebrand.
