"The recommendation overall was MyView," she said, citing MyView’s fit with the district’s instructional vision and ability to support small‑group differentiation and workshop‑style instruction while still providing print materials for elementary students.
The package approved by the board includes digital materials, assessments, intervention supports and scheduled vendor professional learning (initial two‑hour training before school and a follow‑up three‑hour session 6–12 weeks into the year). Board members noted the committee had considered CKLA but found it incompatible with district time allotments; they also discussed optional embedded diagnostics under further review.
Next steps: district staff will execute the purchase and schedule vendor‑provided implementation training before the start of the school year; curriculum staff will monitor classroom implementation and provide updates to the board.
