Milltown board approves liquor and operator licenses, appoints Board of Review member and adopts annual audits with CLA

The Town of Milltown board on March 16 approved a liquor license for Addies on 35 LLC and operator licenses for Tiffany Weinhold and Chasidy Shannon.
Board member Jon Eckel made the motion to approve the liquor license for Addies on 35 LLC and an operator’s license for Tiffany Weinhold; Keith Zygowicz seconded and the motion passed. The clerk reported a completed and satisfactory background check for Chasidy Shannon (Woods of Balsam Lake); Keith Zygowicz moved to approve Shannon’s operator license, Jon Eckel seconded, and the motion passed.
The board set several upcoming dates: the Annual Meeting for April 21, 2026, at 7 p.m.; Open Book on April 20, 2026, from 5–7 p.m.; and the Board of Review on April 27, 2026, from 5–7 p.m. Jon Eckel moved to appoint J. Gary Lilyquist to the Board of Review; Keith Zygowicz seconded and the motion passed.
On audit matters, the board noted audit costs for 2022–2024 totaling $20,998.95 (about $7,000 per year) and on motion by Keith Zygowicz authorized annual audits with CLA going forward; Jon Eckel seconded and the motion passed.
The meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for April 20, 2026, at 7:00 p.m.
