Sergeant Paulson, reporting remotely, told the council he reviewed the draft and did not foresee enforcement hurdles, while noting staff must determine the appropriate route maps for signage and public notice.
Council voted to set a public hearing at the next regular meeting to solicit broader public input on the proposed ordinance. The council directed staff to prepare route maps, signage plans and outreach to large local delivery businesses prior to the hearing.
