Hopkinsville code board enters default final orders for six properties

Darnell West, code enforcement officer with the Hopkinsville Fire Department, told the board that procedures required by Chapter 33 of the Code of Ordinances had been followed for the cases presented. A motion to enter the default final orders for the listed properties was made and seconded; the board approved the motion by voice vote. Clerk’s notation recorded that member Crystal Kirkman abstained from voting on case number CEGTW-2605076 because she indicated a potential conflict related to that specific property.
The board instructed staff to include the abstention in the minutes and directed code enforcement to proceed consistent with the entered orders. The items were processed as a group to finalize enforcement for the properties listed on the agenda. There were no additional announcements and the meeting was adjourned.
