The Town Board of Koshkonong convened on June 11, 2025. Chairperson Kim Cheney called the meeting to order at 6:30 PM and Clerk Caitlin Kincannon verified that required postings had been made.
During the meeting the board voted to convene into closed session at 6:30 PM pursuant to section 19.85(1)(c) of the Wisconsin State Statutes for the purpose of an employee review. Supervisor George Jaeckel moved to enter closed session, Supervisor Erik Hoffman seconded, and the motion carried. The town noted that the Public Works Superintendent and the clerk were included in the closed session. The closed session was paused at 6:52 PM and later resumed at 8:40 PM.
The board returned to open session at 8:53 PM after a motion by Supervisor George Jaeckel, seconded by Supervisor Matt Hill, which carried. After returning to open session, Supervisor Matt Hill moved to raise Public Works employee Eaan Carson’s wage to $24 per hour and to add 40 hours of vacation; Supervisor George Jaeckel seconded, and the motion carried. The meeting record lists this as the formal action resulting from the closed-session employee review.
Supervisor Erik Hoffman moved to adjourn at 8:54 PM; Supervisor George Jaeckel seconded and the motion carried. The minutes were submitted by Clerk Caitlin Kincannon on June 18, 2025.
