Tom Phelps moved that Claas determine if the dealer had the State Bid; if the dealer did, Claas could proceed to the Village Board; if not, Claas should obtain another quote equal to or less than the current one and then proceed to the Village Board without returning to the Public Works Committee. Kitty Repas seconded. The motion carried 5–0.
The committee did not approve a purchase in committee; it authorized staff to verify procurement status and proceed to the Village Board depending on that check.
