Windsor board unanimously approves package of land-use, equipment and event measures

The board also approved Resolution 2026-39 to award construction contracts for the Windsor Depot Street Station at 6758 Depot Street (moved by Trustee Ed Wall; seconded by Trustee Jessica Zander), and several equipment and maintenance purchases: Resolution 2026-40 to authorize purchase of a sewer camera (moved by Trustee Jessica Zander; seconded by Trustee Bruce Stravinski), Resolution 2026-41 to authorize purchase of a utility truck (moved by Trustee Ed Wall; seconded by Trustee Monica Smith), Resolution 2026-42 to award the chip-seal bid (moved by Trustee Bruce Stravinski; seconded by Trustee Jessica Zander), and Resolution 2026-43 authorizing trade-in and replacement of mowers (moved by Trustee Bruce Stravinski; seconded by Trustee Jessica Zander). Each motion carried 5-0.
Ordinance 2026-09, addressing refuse and recycling, was moved by Trustee Monica Smith and seconded by Trustee Ed Wall and approved 5-0. The board also authorized Resolution 2026-44 to award the WindsorFest electric work at Fireman's Park (moved by Trustee Jessica Zander; seconded by Trustee Monica Smith) and approved appointments to boards, committees, commissions and authorities (moved by Trustee Ed Wall; seconded by Trustee Monica Smith). Both motions passed 5-0.
