Audit acceptance: Tara Bast, CPA of Johnson Block CPAs, presented the Village financial statements for the year ended Dec. 31, 2023. Trustee Kristine Schmidt moved to approve and accept the 2023 Audit Report (identified in the minutes as the Financial Statements with Independent Auditor's Report, Required Audit Communications to the Village Board and Financial Statement Overview); Trustee Ed Wall seconded. The motion carried, 5-0. Trustees voting yes were Bruce Stravinski, Kristine Schmidt, Monica Smith, Ed Wall and Bob Wipperfurth.
Joint Review Board alternates: Trustee Ed Wall moved to appoint, as alternates, all Village Trustees to the Joint Review Board; Trustee Monica Smith seconded. The motion carried, 5-0.
Adjournment: At 11:05 a.m. Trustee Ed Wall made a motion to adjourn the meeting; Trustee Monica Smith seconded and the motion carried, 5-0. The minutes were respectfully submitted by Administrator Tina Butteris.
